Want to meet Madam C.J. Walker, one of the first American women to become a self-made millionaire? Learn how slaves escaped to freedom using Chesapeake Bay waterways in the Underground Railroad? Hear stories from around the world? Then come to the Main branch of the Franklin County Public Library on Sat., Feb. 23 when Master Storyteller Sheila Arnold tells stories, leads sing-alongs and presents historical character interpretations in honor of Black History Month. Ms. Arnold is nationally and internationally acclaimed as a storyteller, historian and researcher. She will perform at 11AM, 1PM & 3PM. Shows are free, drop in & for all ages.
