Job Description
JKG is a well-established accounting firm with new Downtown Moneta location seeking an Accounting Clerk. This is a full time, Monday-Friday, year-round position. Hours are 8:30-5:00. Benefits inclulde paid vacation and retirement plan. Health insurance is not available at this time. Main job tasks and responibilities:
 Payroll: 
  • Assist staff with processing payroll for multiple companies using QuickBooks software
  • Calculate and process federal and state payroll tax payments
  • Investigate and correct payroll discrepencies and errors
Receivables and payables:
  • Assist staff in processing weekly vendor payments
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Record dues payments for multiple clients using QuickBook software
  • Write up bank deposits
  • Fill in for receptionist as needed
Education and Experience: 
  • High School Diploma
  • Solid data entry skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic familiarity with QuickBooks software
  • Strong numerical skills
