Responsibilities include building awareness of RRSBDC in the region, counseling new and existing small businesses in areas of business planning, financing, marketing, accounting, and other small business issues; offering training to improve skills and knowledge of existing and prospective business owners; and securing local partners to support future budgets.
Requirements: experience in small business ownership, management and consulting; a master’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience; appropriate administrative experience and strong communication skills to direct, manage and market the program within the community; and experience using word processing, database and spreadsheet software. Experience starting and managing a small business, training, accounting, budgeting, banking, and/or e-commerce, a plus.
