Learn about the common invasive plant species around Smith Mountain Lake\, and what you can do to help. Join a park interpreter on a short hike\, and then have an invasive species removal party. We'll supply all tools and work gloves. Please dress for outdoor work and the weather. Parking fee is waived today for pre-registered volunteers assisting with this project. \n\n\n\nRegistration begins February 1\, 2018 at Smith Mountain Lake State Park's Visitor Center.
