We'll explore the pastime of fishing\, as you learn how to rig a line\, put a worm on the hook\, and practice casting. Space is limited to 12.\n\n\n\nSmith Mountain Lake State Park Jr. Ranger program is offered free to participants\, ages 7-12 years\, due to the generous support of the Friends of Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Eight hours of programming are required to qualify as a Jr. Ranger. Programs are held on 6/14\, 6/21\, 6/28\, 7/5\, 7/12\, and 7/19. \n\n\n\nPre-registration required.
