Vision Screening for the School System\, diabetes education\, pediatric cancer programs\, hunger/Humanitarian activities throughout the community\, the environment and youth programs.\nYes\, we are the LIONS and for over 100 years we have served in the communities that we live.  We will need leadership too!  Many of you know how to lead in community organizations and we would welcome you to be a part of one of America?s own Chicago born service organizations\, 1.4 million members world-wide\, 47\,000 clubs\, and most important of all Your Members right here in your surrounding communities. They are part of our District network of clubs and we get together from time to time to share the wonderful experiences we?ve had doing the activities with our clubs. We have 1\,280 members in our 24C District\, 51 Clubs and 5 youth groups. You could be part of a great team of people who believe there is value in service to others\, that the real benefit of our service it how it makes us feel about who we are. The feeling in that moment of self-satisfaction.  We also see the joy that it brings to those we serve.\nThis is the LIONS life of service. \nOur motto: WE SERVE
