DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual Smith Mountain Lake Stand Up Paddleboard Race will be held on Saturday\, September 15th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm\, at Smith Mountain Lake Community Park in Moneta. All ages are welcome to compete in your age specific category. The race begins on the sandy community park beach. Racers will paddle to and around a small island for the 2 and 4 mile courses. The race begins at 9:30 am. Pre-register by August 31st to get your shirt. $30.00 pre registration fee and $40.00 day of registration. Day of registration begins at 8:30 am. Food\, Awards\, Swag and more! Rentals are also available.
