Discovery Center Explorations

Stop by and discover the variety of flora and fauna found around Smith Mountain Lake. Wander through our butterfly garden, learn about our ospreys, and explore in the Discovery Room. If you decide to continue your explorations outside the Center, on our trails, be sure to pick up one or more of our Jr. Discovery Series brochures. We have one for trees, wildflowers, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, and fish. Trail guides can also be found in the brochure rack at the Discovery Center.
