On behalf of the Friends of Booker T. Washington National Monument (FBTWNM), we thank you for your enthusiasm for the first annual FBTWNM Freedom Walk! Your individual and team contributions will help build the FBTWNM Scholarship Fund that is awarded annually to a qualifying senior at Franklin County High School.
How To Join:
- Attend the KICK Off at Booker T. Washington National Monument, 12130 Booker T. Washington Highway, Hardy, VA, Saturday April 17, 2021 at 10 AM-Noon (Rain or Shine) and sign-up as an individual or team. Receive a free Water Bottle, BTWNM wrist band and Trail Blazer T-Shirt (only at Kick-Off celebration in person) and start your walk at the Park or neighborhood. All Covid Safety practices will be adhered to and masks are mandatory.
- Virtually, you can complete the registration form found online to mail or email at www.friendsofbookertw.org/freedomwalk2021 The registration fee and post walk pledge/donations can be snail mailed or completed via PayPal online.
- Collect friend or corporate sponsors for $1.00 per mile (or more)
