Food Service Technician I Starting Pay $8.00 to $10.00

Performs tasks as assigned in the snack bar.  Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing/serving food and refreshments, washing dishes, and keeping kitchen area & equipment clean & operable.  Upkeep of concession exterior to include sweeping the deck, cleaning tables, removing trash and litter.  Responsible for weekly inventories of food and merchandise, and revenue collection for merchandise, food and swim ticket sales.  Responsible for reconciling revenue for cash registers.  During periods of slow demand will be required to perform restroom cleaning. Responsible to the Assistant Park Manager or his/her designee. 
 
Qualifications:  Must have workers permit if required, must have reliable transportation.  General knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operation preferred but not required.  Must be able to work well with other staff and park guests.  Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. 
 
All positions require weekends and/or holidays, uniforms will be provided per policy. Employment in all positions is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check.  All positions are limited to 1500 hours between May 1 and April 30. Must possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License. Compensation is based on experience.
