Franklin County Re-Charter Signing of TRIAD with Attorney General Jason Miyares

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Franklin County Department of Aging are excited to announce the establishment of a local TRIAD group to our community. TRIAD groups are a collective effort of law enforcement agencies, senior citizens, and senior organizations that are focused on reducing crimes against our most vulnerable citizens – our seniors.

Our goals are to educate our seniors on how to protect themselves from being victims of crime, connecting them to available resources, and to strengthen the communications between local law enforcement and the senior community. These goals are achieved through speaking engagements, community collaborations, and targeted training to distribute valuable information. Through this, our intention is for seniors to thrive knowing that they are informed and can make confident decisions to protect themselves.

Please join us as we welcome Attorney General Jason Miyares to Franklin County for the Ceremonial Re-Charter Signing of our local TRIAD.

The Franklin County TRIAD meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of every month at 9:30am. These monthly meetings will include scheduled speakers that can highlight available community resources. Information on topics of speakers scheduled through the remainder of 2023 year will be available at the TRIAD Ceremony, and also available at the Essig Center.
