There are computers in your phone, your car, your house, probably even in your dishwasher. They’re pretty much everywhere…even in bird feeders invented by Radford University scientists. These cutting-edge feeders use microcomputers to collect real-time data on birds in the wild. On Sept. 24, 6:30p, the Franklin County Public Library's award-winning Myths & Facts Virginia Wildlife Series welcomes RU’s Jason Davis, Ph.D. and his students in demonstrating what this smart technology can teach us about animal behavior in our own backyards. Please reserve a seat by calling (540) 483-3098 option 0.
