During this presentation, we will discuss the “chaos” we often face as women in today’s society. Each of us take on many roles, and balancing it all can be quite the juggling act. The impact can take a toll on our emotional health. During this presentation, we will learn more about women’s mental health, engage in activities to bring self-awareness to our own experiences, and explore ways to engage in self-care and wholehearted living.

Dr. Angie Dahl is a licensed clinical psychologist, the Director of Clinical Services at the Southern Virginia Child Advocacy Center and the Dean of Health Professions and Social Sciences at Ferrum College. Clinically, Angie has worked with child, adolescent, young adult and adult populations on a variety of presenting issues, most commonly anxiety, mood, trauma, and childhood related disorders. As Dean of Health Professions and Social Sciences she provides leadership to a team of faculty committed to educating students in the social sciences, health care and teaching professions. Angie lives at home with her two children, husband and dog.
