Fishing for Hospice Fishing Tournament

Do you enjoy fishing? Come enjoy some time on the water and support a local cause. Fishing for Hospice is a family friendly tournament designed to be fun for all ages and experience levels. This tournament will be on Friday September 11^th and Saturday September 12^th at Smith Mountain Lake State Park. This is a “Catch. Photo. Release.” style tournament, with the winners being determined by length. There will be prizes for Largemouth bass, Striped Bass, Catfish, and Pan fish. There will also be a prize given to the longest and shortest fish regardless of species. Thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes are expected to be given out. Last year, over 75% of participants received a prize of some kind! All proceeds benefit the Bedford Hospice House.
