
Join us for a poetry reading by Roanoke poet Ashley Rhame at the Franklin County Public Library in Rocky Mount. Ashley will recite from her books of poetry, “Soul Cry,” “God's Eye” and “Chasing Sun.” Ashley’s mission in life is to create space that’s loving, healthy and reflective. Her work has appeared in the “Artemis” journal and she has performed in collaboration with Italian artist, Giussepina Giordano, at the Taubman Museum. She writes the “Perspectives” blog for “ColorsVA” magazine and serves as program director of Girls Rock Roanoke. Ashley is also co-founder and co-host of the poetry and art show, SpeakEasy on 11th.
