SML Newcomers Meeting

The October meeting of the Smith Mountain Lake Newcomers will be on Monday, October 14th, at Trinity Ecumenical Parish, We will hear about Joyous Junque, a yearlong effort by about 30 people to prepare donated items for sale in June. Proceed from this event go to charities in both Bedford and Franklin Counties. We expect to have additional social time at the end of the presentation, so please come prepared to learn more about your neighbors here at the lake. Everyone is welcome to attend this completely free event. The Smith Mountain Lake Newcomers is a purely social organization and is open to anyone who lives in the area. Please join us for complimentary refreshments at 10:00 followed by the presentation at 10:30. Bring a friend, be prepared to make some new friends, and learn more about one of the outreach organizations here at the lake – all at the same time. All are welcome. We hope to see you there.
