This role is responsible for the safe operation of a delivery truck, safe loading and unloading of furniture and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities Overview
- Responsible for the safe operation of delivery truck.
- Safely and efficiently load furniture on company trucks for customer delivery.
- Safely and efficiently unload furniture and place in customers’ home.
- Ensure excellent customer service on delivery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting delivery manifest requirements
Requirements
- Possess current driver’s license and qualified DMV report.
- Maintain qualifications for DOT driver file.
- In general, Tuesday through Saturday schedule but can be changed by business needs.
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing for multiple hours and the ability to carry and lift weights of up to 150 lbs. with assistance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Attention to detail
- Oral and written communications skills are required
