About Us
Godparents for Tanzania provides scholarships to students in Tanzania to enable them to lift themselves from poverty, pursue their education and contribute to their families, communities and country. Discovery Safaris is the travel program of Godparents for Tanzania and makes annual trips to visit students and places in the Kilimanjaro/Karatu region of Tanzania. The two week adventures provide an introduction to life in a developing country through visits to villages, schools, churches and health centers. Big game drives add to the excitement of these trips.
