About Us
HDLA, Inc is a dynamic small business located in downtown Lynchburg with extensive experience in land architecture and graphic design. We have served Virginia for thirty years with capabilities including: master planning, site analysis, construction documents, detailed site plans, park planning, bike and hike trails, signage, graphic design, marketing & production, and construction administration. HDLA is a Virginia corporation.
HDLA is comprised of three Landscape Architects, a Creative Director/CADD Manager, CADD Specialist, Cartographer/Horticulturist, Office Manager, and Intern. This diversity allows us to assemble the most cost and qualified teams on a project by project basis. This specialized team approach allows us to produce plans, drawings, cost estimates and schedules on time and wtihin budget. HDLA is well known for our SAGE division - a program to create beautiful highway gardens in towns, cities and counties. Existing SAGE programs include: City of Lynchburg, Towns of Rocky Mount and Farmville, and Liberty University.
HDLA has created master plans and graphic design for municipal, adacemic, palnned residential communties, healthcare, commercial, religious, and historic settings. Selcet clients include: Lynchburg, Rocky Mount, Farmville, Altatista, gretna, Galax, Ferrum College, Liberty University, Red Hill, Roanoke City Parks & Recreation, and Eagle Pointe Shores at Leesville Lake.
