About Us
Founded in 1992, Lake Christian Ministries (LCM) is a non-profit organization in Moneta, Va., that provides food, clothing and crisis financial assistance to those in need in the Smith Mountain Lake area of Bedford, Franklin and Pittsylvania counties. LCM also provides mentoring and self-improvement programs and employment training focused on helping move families toward a better future. LCM participates in two major annual fundraising events, Roanoke Valley Gives in the spring and the Walk to End Poverty (formerly the Jim Cameron Walk) in the fall.
