Melanie joins Long and Foster with previous real estate experience here at Smith Mountain Lake and in Franklin County, Virginia, backed up by decades of experience in the insurance, newspaper, retail, and customer service industries, and is well-prepared to meet the needs and expectations of her clients. A 1979 graduate of Maryland's Towson University, member of the SML Chamber of Commerce, member of Francis of Assisi Church, and the Water's Edge Country Club, Melanie and her family call the Water's Edge home. She has started classes with the aim of soon attaining her Graduate Real Estate institute designation.
