About Us

Phoebe Needles Center in Callaway, Virginia is a beautiful year-round retreat, camp and conference center as well as party and wedding venue. We serve all types of groups: individuals, families, businesses, non-profit organizations, educational organizations, churches, etc. by providing facilities (meals, lodging, meeting spaces), and also programs (summer camps, field trips, team building, monthly programs for seniors, etc.). Our 78 acre property offers: large community center, lodge, small rental house, hiking trails, swimming pool, basketball and volleyball courts, playground, and more.

The Mission of Phoebe Needles Center is to serve people of all ages throughout southwestern Virginia by offering facilities and a variety of educational, spiritual, and renewal programs designed to nurture people in their spiritual formation. We provide an environment, facilities, and programs that nurture and challenge people in a setting that is safe (spiritually, emotionally, and physically); opportunities for transformative growth and the creative experience of God’s presence; and build community and further relationships by actively living love, forgiveness, and service.
