I?m Billy Kohls a local real estate agent, fishing guide, and husband living in Huddleston VA. Although I am not originally from VA my wife and I have picked SML to be our home with our dogs. This lake holds a special place in our hearts because just like you, may be thinking or experiencing, we wanted to find community and good people to grow around. We had lived in many different cities and areas, but SML just felt different. This lake and surrounding area has everything to offer anyone that is looking for a slower pace to life no matter what stage you?re in.
As a local fishing guide I am on this amazing fishery many days a week showing families the fun lake life to be had when living or visiting the area. Our lake is one of the best hidden largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing waters in the south east United States. We also have a great sailing community, awesome local restaurants on the water , super fun yearly festivals and a killer state park to experience.
