About Us
The Glebe is a LifeCare retirement community sponsored by Virginia Baptist Homes, located in Daleville, VA.
VBH, established in 1948, also operates Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community (Culpeper), The Chesapeake (Newport News), Lakewood Manor (Richmond) and The Summit (Lynchburg).
Located in rural Botetourt County just north of Roanoke, The Glebe offers a location surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains in a resort-like setting within minutes of cultural events, shopping, hospitals, and other services in Roanoke.
Currently, there are apartments and cottages (single family homes) available for occupancy.
The Community Center includes two dining venues, guest rooms, private dining room, a fitness center, art studio, full service bank, indoor saltwater swimming pool, and more. Residents will enjoy shopping at Botetourt Commons and Daleville Town Center.
The Glebe provides all private residences in assisted living, memory care and nursing care as well as home health services. Health services are located on-site close to family and friends. With LifeCare, health care provided at The Glebe is prepaid in today's dollars through an entrance fee and monthly fees -- helping to protect your assets.
The Glebe is an active community where people share similar interests, life long learning classes, companionship, etc.
The Glebe adheres to fair housing and is open to people of all faiths. The minimum age is 62.
