SMLA Membership Drive Celebrates SML 60th Birthday 
SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE, VA – Smith Mountain Lake Association (SMLA) invites everyone to join the non-profit association as a way of celebrating the 60th year of the lake. New members who join now through the end of  May receive a $10 gift certificate to the SML Coffee House at Bridgewater Plaza. Current members who refer someone who joins also receive a $10 gift certificate.
As the longest-serving advocate for SML, SMLA works to keep the water clean, the shoreline healthy, the community informed and recreation on the water safe for everyone.  Members support the organization's many efforts:
? Promote safe, responsible recreation on the water
? Support water quality testing and environmental stewardship
? Protect the lake’s long-term health and safety
? Stay informed on issues that impact residents, visitors, and businesses
? Be part of a community that cares deeply about the future of SML
Everyone who enjoys SML is invited to honor the 60th birthday of the lake by joining SMLA and sharing a commitment to keeping the lake clean and safe.
