The Discovery Shops SML to celebrate 20 years!

The Discovery Shops SML will commemorate its 20^th birthday serving the community on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. In appreciation to our customers, the Shop will celebrate with door prizes and special discounts. All are welcome and encouraged to join us.

Thanks to our community–volunteers, donors, and shoppers–we will soon reach $4.5 million in money raised for the American Cancer Society.

Of the more than 60+ Discovery Shops across the country, this store is placed in the top three for money raised. We are the only store that sells new home furnishings donated from High Point Market vendors and the only store staffed by all volunteers. The Smith Mountain Lake location is one of only two in the South East Region; the other is located in Roanoke.
