About Us

Atelier 11 has a 30 year history of waterfront design and village and urban designs. From waterfront estates featured in magazines to carefully crafted small projects. We handle master plans and a wide range of commercial from luxury retirement housing to hospitality, restaurants, rustic camps, and traditional neighborhood developments.

Atelier 11 was started in an unfinished garret of a weathered Victorian building in 1994. In this rustic space, founders Lauren Dianich and Jon Braithwaite worked to achieve the responsive and beautiful design that they studied and sketched when working in Seattle, WA and traveling in Europe and Japan. Our staff all has experience in construction and respect for the teamwork needed to create buildings that inspire and continue to be gathering spaces for years to come.
